This solved a major problem I have with this music player. I decided to retag the music on my micro sd card (not my backup files) to replace the 'artist' tag with 'album artist' since this player cannot recognize album artist. Sucks to use more of the phone's battery and lose a lot of good features, but this is better than suffering with bad performance on an expensive product. I think I'll sell this DAP and only use my smartphone with a dongle. The hardware cannot handle even these simple tasks. Other views are unusable if it display lots of songs or albums.
